What About You? (Sunday Quick Questions #48)

I blog, I get sick of me! I want to hear from you!

There are no wrong answers!

Most important, this is for fun! Have some fun!

Questions:

  1. You are in an Escape Room. The goal is to find the clues, answer them, and win your way OUT of the room! Name 2 people you want in that room with you and why!
  2. You are ready to have a lovely weekend getaway at a fabulous hotel!!! No coronavirus in site! You are offered two options for your getaway. The first option, you may have free room service breakfasts delivered to your room for your weekend OR  the second offer is 3 free drink tickets to use at your leisure. Which offer would you choose?
  3. You are stranded on the proverbial lost island with your family and maybe a few friends… but the deal is there are no electronics; cell phones, computers, game boxes, streaming services … (you know, the hardship!) You are allowed 1 board game, what do you bring and why?

  1. I’d bring Bojana and my hubby. Bojana because she’s crazy smart and the hubs because he can fix/make anything… like a skeleton key to get us out of that room!
  2. I’m getting the room service breakfasts!
  3. I come from a board game family, so this is tough… I’d bring Sequence. Its a dice and card game, different every time, there’s a little bit of luck with every play. All good fun.

  1. 1. Two people? Both wicked smart but in different ways: Robert and Sara. Robert is also very strong. Sara’s base of knowledge is different than my own. We all bring something to the table.

    2. Breakfast. I love breakfast in bed but also I love a cup of tea and something to eat. Besides, I don’t really drink. Lots of sugar in booze and sugar is the bane.

    3. If I wanted to have the inhabitants of my deserted island to murder one another I would bring Risk or Monopoly. Hmmm… Does it have to be a board game with a game board or does a card game work too?

    1. I like the wicked smart in different ways, best way of escaping the room! My world is right when room service delivers breakfast, and takes away the dishes! Booze definitely is filled with sugar… BUT when on vacation, there are no calories! 😆 Murder Island! Yikes. I provide the questions… there are no wrong answers! Thanks Kit! Great answers. 😊💜

      1. You know how Monopoly and Risk go; a long game of either would turn the most civilized folks to Lord of the Flies. A simple deck of cards would be my choice. That can be dozens of games and nobody gets hurt for taking over western Europe or Park Place.

  2. 1, Harry Houdini on a good day and escapologist, Magic Babe Ning, because I like her name, she has been credited as the best escapee in all of Singapore – I’m presuming that’s a big thing there – and the fact she’s been lauded for her good looks.
    2. A free breakfast providing they serve mushrooms and poached eggs.
    3. The dyslexic version of Scrabble. I might have a chance of winning with that one.

    1. Houdini and an escapologist (with good looks!) awesome picks. I believe there will be mushrooms AND poached eggs! The dyslexic version of scrabble… now that sounds like a challenge except not as much for you! Hey, makes good sense to me! Thanks George!😊💫

    1. Escape rooms are popular in the USA. You go to a place where they have a room or rooms that you are locked in and to get out you must solve riddles to get to the key to escape the room and win! You can play against another team, who is locked in another room OR against the clock… kinda fun! Well, other offers… you are just like my hubby who asked me basically the same question! Not a fan of parameters! (LMAO!) a German? Yes! Chess counts!!! That would be a great game to pass the time! Thanks, Bo 😊💜

  3. I have a dear friend who’s grandson opened one of those places in calif.
I would take my children. They are both smart and would have me out in no time
    The breakfast. I don’t drink
I was going to say I have not played a board game in years. I played a child’s version of monopoly with my 8 year old great grandson. The boy was the banker and had sticky fingers. I don’t mean from food
A good old deck of cards works better for me

  4. 1) Ken and Kate. We play Escape Room, The Board Game all the time and we’re a great team.
    2) Drink tickets–do you even have to ask?
    3) We’re currently really liking Code Names.

  5. 1) Just thinking about being locked up is causing me to twitch. But if I had to be in such a horrible place, I’d bring my husband and son. Ry is great at thinking outside of the box and David is great at implementing whatever plan we decide on!
    2) Can I have one free drink and one free breakfast? I can’t choose!
    3) I’d want a deck of cards because there are so many different games you can play!

    1. It is a bit of a concern thinking about being locked up! We could call it the Mystery Room to make it less scary! Solid team. Yay! You may certainly have one of each. Cards seem to be a popular choice! Are you back, Mona? All good? Was just over to your blog a week or so ago. I’ll check back again!😊💜

My husband because he is SUPER smart and Mr. Rogers because my husband is so smart he wouldn’t need our help but I have ALWAYS wanted to hang out with Mr. Rogers.

Drinks! 🙂 – I rarely drink so this would be a HUGE treat!

Dumb A$$ because eventually I would have memorized all the answers and I would be smarter if we ever get rescued. 🙂

  8. Late getting here today, just got out of an escape room. Luckily with Cyberspouse who is unflappable and Cyberson 1 who is the brainiest in the family.
Room service, I would deserve it after being stuck in that escape room.
A blank board and some felt pens so we could make up a new game, probably using sea shells and pebbles.
